LIVsafe was founded by Paolo and Kelsey Guarisco with a mission to create safer, more accessible living environments for individuals and families.

Professional Background
​
As a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), I bring comprehensive expertise in safety and health management to every project. My credentials include the Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS 1) designation, which enables me to evaluate workspaces, postures, and environments to prevent strain and injury. Most recently, I earned the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation through the National Association of Home Builders, specializing in practical modifications and universal design strategies that promote safe, independent living.

These certifications reflect my core belief: accidents can be prevented through thoughtful design and proactive planning.

A Personal Commitment to Safety
​
My professional expertise is deeply informed by personal experience. The early birth of our first child during the pandemic underscored the critical importance of secure, well-designed environments. Witnessing the meticulous safety protocols in the delivery room and NICU reinforced my commitment to proactive safety planning.
​
Additionally, I’ve worked alongside my mother throughout her caregiving career, designing spaces that balance safety, comfort, and accessibility. Concerned for the wellbeing of my grandmother and great-grandmother, I personally evaluated their home to identify risks and implement improvements. These experiences transformed my approach to safety from theoretical to deeply practical and purpose-driven.

Community Engagement

Beyond my professional work, I serve as a board member for Rebuilding Together Nashville, where I help preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize neighborhoods. I also treasure time with my wife, Kelsey, and our two sons.
